Setup and Assembly

The MechMaxx B150 requires some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Axle and Wheel Assembly: Attach the rear axle and 19-inch wheels. Then, attach the front foldable wheels. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.

  3. Tow Bar Installation: Securely attach the tow bar to the frame. Connect the tail light wiring harness to the main unit.

  4. Battery Connection: Connect the 12V20Ah lead-acid battery for the electric start. Ensure correct polarity.

  5. Fluid Levels: Before starting, check engine oil and fuel levels. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity. Use fresh, clean gasoline.

Operating Instructions

Pre-Operation Checklist:

Starting the Engine:

  1. Ensure the chipper is on a stable, level surface.
  2. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
  3. Set the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (cold engine).
  4. Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
  5. Use the electric start key or pull the recoil starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
  6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position as the engine warms up.

Chipping Operation:

Stopping the Engine:

  1. Allow the engine to idle for a few minutes to cool down.
  2. Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
  3. Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position.
  4. In an emergency, press the emergency stop button or engage the stop bar.

Maintenance
