5.2 Operating Modes

The cooker hood supports two ventilation modes:

Extraction Mode (Ducted): Air is drawn from the kitchen, filtered through the aluminum grease filters, and then expelled outside through an exhaust duct. This mode requires an external vent.
Recirculation Mode (Ductless): Air is drawn in, filtered through both the aluminum grease filters and the activated carbon filter (CF132), and then recirculated back into the kitchen. This mode is suitable when external venting is not possible. The CF132 carbon filter is included for this purpose.
