5.2 Operating Modes

The cooker hood supports two ventilation modes:

  • Extraction Mode (Ducted): Air is drawn from the kitchen, filtered through the aluminum grease filters, and then expelled outside through an exhaust duct. This mode requires an external vent.
  • Recirculation Mode (Ductless): Air is drawn in, filtered through both the aluminum grease filters and the activated carbon filter (CF132), and then recirculated back into the kitchen. This mode is suitable when external venting is not possible. The CF132 carbon filter is included for this purpose.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your cooker hood.

7.1 Cleaning the Grease Filters

The cooker hood is equipped with multi-layer aluminum grease filters. These filters trap grease particles from cooking fumes and should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain efficiency and prevent fire hazards. They can be washed by hand with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.

7.2 Replacing the Activated Carbon Filter (CF132)

If you are using the cooker hood in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filter (CF132) absorbs odors. Carbon filters cannot be washed and must be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage). Refer to the product diagram for filter access and replacement instructions.

7.3 Cleaning the Exterior

Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, which can damage the finish.
