Setup
- Charge Batteries:
Before first use, fully charge both 2000mAh lithium-ion batteries. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Install Battery:
Once charged, slide a battery pack into the base of the pruning shears until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.
- Inspect Blades:
Before each use, inspect the SK5 blades for any damage, dullness, or debris. Ensure they are clean and properly aligned. Refer to the Maintenance section for cleaning instructions.
Operating Instructions
- Powering On:
To power on the shears, press the main power button (usually located near the battery) and then quickly press the trigger twice in a row. This upgraded safety switch mechanism prevents accidental activation. The blades will open to their maximum capacity.
- Checking LCD Display:
The integrated LCD display will show the current battery level and the total number of cuts made. Monitor the battery level to ensure uninterrupted work.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pruning shears.
- Blade Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and carefully clean the blades with a damp cloth to remove sap, dirt, and debris. For stubborn residue, use a mild solvent.
- Blade Lubrication: Apply a few drops of lubricating oil (provided) to the pivot point and cutting edges of the blades regularly to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
- Blade Sharpening/Replacement: If the blades become dull, they can be sharpened using a fine-grit sharpening stone. If severely damaged or worn, replace them with genuine SK5 replacement blades. Refer to the included tools for blade replacement.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
- General Cleaning: Wipe down the body of the shears with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the tool in water.
- Storage: Store the pruning shears in its carrying case in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Ensure the battery is removed before storage.
