5. Operating Instructions

1. Add Ingredients: Place the desired amount of rice and water (or other ingredients) into the stainless steel inner pot. Refer to the inner pot's markings for water levels.
2. Close Lid: Ensure the inner pot is properly seated in the main unit, then close the lid securely until it clicks.
3. Select Menu Function: Press the Menu button repeatedly to cycle through the available cooking functions (Quick Rice, White Rice, Mixed Grain, Steam, Congee, Soup, Multigrain Congee, Reheat). The selected function will illuminate on the display.
4. Start Cooking: Once your desired function is selected, press the Start button. The cooking process will begin, and the display will show the remaining cooking time.
5. Keep Warm Function: After cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to Keep Warm mode. The display will show the elapsed time in Keep Warm mode.
6. Cancel/Turn Off: To cancel a cooking program or turn off the Keep Warm function, long-press the Warm/Cancel button for two seconds.

6.1. Cooking White Rice

1. Measure the desired amount of white rice using the provided measuring cup.
2. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
3. Place the rinsed rice into the stainless steel inner pot.
4. Add water to the inner pot, aligning with the corresponding water level mark for white rice. For example, for 3 cups of rice, fill water to the '3' mark on the 'White Rice' scale.
5. Close the lid and select the White Rice function using the Menu button.
6. Press Start to begin cooking.
7. Once cooking is complete, the unit will switch to Keep Warm. Fluff the rice with the rice spoon before serving.
