7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Memory Function Not Working After Power-Off
If the stereo does not retain settings after the vehicle is turned off, it may be due to incorrect wiring between the ACC wire (red) and the B+ wire (yellow). Ensure the yellow wire is connected to the positive terminal of the constant current battery to activate the memory function.
7.2. Stereo Does Not Turn On
If the car stereo fails to power on, check the wiring connections. Use the provided wiring harness and ensure the yellow wire is connected to the positive terminal of the battery, the black wire to the negative terminal, and the red wire to the ACC (car key fob) for proper power supply.
7.3. Stereo Stays On After Car Is Off
Ensure the red wire is correctly connected to the ACC (car key fob). This connection ensures the single din car stereo turns off when the car is off, preventing it from draining the battery.
7.4. Preventing Short Circuits
Always insulate all wires correctly after making connections to prevent the positive and negative terminals from touching. This avoids short circuits and other safety hazards.
