Product Overview

The Aiwa WSH3-1003 is a compact, plug-in ceramic space heater designed for supplemental heating in small indoor spaces. It features an LCD digital screen, adjustable thermostat, and a 24-hour timer for personalized comfort and energy efficiency.

Key Features:

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
  2. Select Location: Choose a suitable 3-prong wall outlet. Ensure there are no obstructions around the heater and that it is at least 3 feet away from any combustible materials. The heater must always face upright.
  3. Adjust Plug Angle (if needed): The heater features a rotating plug for flexible placement. To adjust the plug, press the button located on the side of the plug assembly and rotate the plug to the desired 90° or 180° orientation.

  4. Plug In: Insert the heater directly into a 3-prong wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

Operating Instructions

The heater's control panel is located on the top of the unit, featuring an LCD display and several buttons for operation.

  1. Power On/Off:
    • Locate the red power switch on the side of the heater.
    • Flip the switch to the "ON" position to power on the unit. The LCD display will illuminate.
    • Flip the switch to the "OFF" position to power off the unit.
  2. Adjusting Temperature:
    • Press the "Temperature Control" buttons (up/down arrows) on the control panel to set your desired temperature. The temperature range is up to 90°F.
    • The heater will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set temperature.
  3. Setting the Timer:
    • Press the "Timer" button on the control panel.
    • Use the "Temperature Control" buttons (up/down arrows) to set the desired number of hours (1-24) for the heater to operate before automatically shutting off.
    • The timer can also be used to program the heater to turn on after a set number of hours.
  4. Fan Speed:
    • Press the "Fan Speed" button (fan icon) to cycle through different fan speed settings (if available).

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Heater does not turn on.No power, power switch off, or overheat protection activated.Ensure heater is securely plugged into a working 3-prong outlet. Check the red power switch on the side. If the unit overheated, unplug it, wait 15 minutes, then plug it back in.
Heater produces no heat or insufficient heat.Temperature setting too low, or room size too large for the heater.Increase the thermostat setting. This heater is designed for small spaces (400W). For larger rooms, multiple units or a higher wattage heater may be required.
Heater suddenly stops working.Overheat protection activated.Unplug the heater and allow it to cool for 15 minutes. Check for any obstructions blocking the air intake or exhaust. Plug back in and restart.
