5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your Vtopek Carplay screen:

5.1 Mounting the Screen

Choose between the self-adhesive bracket or the suction cup bracket based on your preference and dashboard surface.

Self-adhesive Bracket: Clean the desired area on your dashboard. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the bracket and firmly press it onto the dashboard. Hold for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
Suction Cup Bracket: Clean the desired area on your dashboard or windshield. Press the suction cup firmly against the surface and engage the locking lever to secure it.
Attach the Carplay screen to the chosen bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your driving view or airbags.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided car charger cable to the power input port on the Vtopek screen.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Wireless Carplay / Android Auto Connection

To connect your smartphone wirelessly:

Step 1: On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Step 2: On the Vtopek screen, navigate to the Carplay or Android Auto interface.
Step 3: On your smartphone, search for Bluetooth devices and select the device name starting with "T86B-XXX" (for Apple Carplay) or "196B-XXX" (for Android Auto).
Step 4: Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
Step 5: For Apple Carplay, select "Use Carplay" when prompted. For Android Auto, the connection should be successful automatically.

6.2 Voice Control

Once connected to Carplay or Android Auto, you can use voice commands for navigation, calls, and music playback.

6.5 Mirror Link (Airplay / Android Cast)

The Mirror Link function allows you to display your smartphone's screen content directly onto the Vtopek screen.

For iOS (Airplay): Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. On your iPhone, open Control Center and select "Screen Mirroring," then choose the Vtopek device.
For Android (Android Cast): Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. On your Android phone, enable "Wireless Projection" or "Cast" from your settings or quick panel and select the Vtopek device.

6.6 Audio Output Modes

The Vtopek screen offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's sound system:

Bluetooth: Connect the Vtopek screen to your car's original radio via Bluetooth for high-quality stereo sound.
AUX Connection: Use the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the Vtopek screen to your car's AUX input.
FM Transmission: Select an unused FM frequency on the Vtopek screen and tune your car's radio to the same frequency to transmit audio wirelessly.
