1. Introduction

These speakers are designed for outdoor use, featuring solar charging, IPX7 waterproofing, and TWS (True Wireless Stereo) connectivity for an enhanced audio experience in your garden, patio, or backyard. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

  1. Speaker: Audio output.
  2. USB-C Port: For wired charging.
  3. Red/White Charging LED Indicator: Red indicates solar charging, White indicates USB-C charging.
  4. Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  5. Orange/Green Pairing LED Indicator: Indicates TWS pairing status.

4. Setup and Charging

Initial Charge

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the speakers using the provided USB-C cable and power adaptor. This ensures optimal battery performance.

  • Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker's USB-C port and the power adaptor.
  • Plug the power adaptor into a wall outlet.
  • The charging LED indicator will illuminate.
  • A full charge via power cord takes approximately 2 hours.

Solar Charging

The speakers feature an integrated solar panel for continuous charging when exposed to sunlight. Solar charging can occur simultaneously with power cord charging.

  • Place the speaker in direct sunlight for efficient solar charging.
  • Solar charging takes approximately 30 hours for a full charge, depending on sunlight intensity.

5. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power Button (4) until the LED indicator lights up.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power Button (4) again until the LED indicator turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing (Single Speaker)

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the Blue Bluetooth LED Indicator (7) is blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Herdio Rock Speaker" from the list.
  4. Once connected, the Blue Bluetooth LED Indicator (7) will stop blinking and remain solid blue.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Connection (Two Speakers)

For a stereo sound experience, you can connect two Herdio Rock Speakers wirelessly.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the Pairing Button (6). The Orange/Green Pairing LED Indicator (5) will start blinking.
  3. The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second speaker.
  4. Once connected, the Orange/Green Pairing LED Indicator (5) on both speakers will turn solid green, and the Blue Bluetooth LED Indicator (7) on the primary speaker will blink, ready for device pairing.
  5. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing (Single Speaker)" section.

Placement

Place the speakers in desired outdoor locations such as gardens, patios, decks, or pool areas. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging.

6. Maintenance and Care

Waterproof Design

The Herdio Rock Speakers feature an IPX7 waterproof design, making them resistant to rain, splashes, and temporary submersion. This allows for reliable outdoor use in various weather conditions.

Cleaning

  • Wipe the speakers with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

If storing the speakers for an extended period, ensure they are fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Herdio Rock Speakers, refer to the following common solutions:
