Setup

Battery Installation

The eKids Wicked Karaoke Microphone with Boombox requires 3 AA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
2. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Microphone Connection

The wired microphone is permanently attached to the boombox. Ensure the microphone cable is not tangled or obstructed for optimal performance.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To turn the boombox on or off, press the Power button (usually marked with a circle and a vertical line) located on the front panel.

Playing Built-in Music

Press the Music Note button on the front panel to play the pre-loaded songs from the Wicked film, including 'Defying Gravity' and 'Popular'. Press again to cycle through the songs.

Using the Microphone

To use the microphone, ensure the boombox is powered on. Your voice will be amplified through the speaker. Press the Microphone On/Off button (often depicted as a microphone icon) to activate or deactivate the microphone function.

Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect an external device via Bluetooth:

1. Turn on the boombox.
2. Press the Bluetooth button (usually marked with the Bluetooth symbol) on the front panel. The unit will enter pairing mode.
3. On your external device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "eKids Wicked Karaoke" or a similar name from the list of devices to pair.
