2. Safety Instructions
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent personal injury or damage to the equipment:
- Read the Manual: Familiarize yourself with all controls and safety warnings before operation.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear eye protection, hearing protection, and appropriate clothing (gloves, sturdy shoes) during operation.
- Fuel Safety: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or use open flames near the unit.
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Never operate the engine in an enclosed area. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, which is a colorless, odorless, and deadly gas.
- High Pressure Hazard: The high-pressure spray can cause serious injury. Never direct the spray at people, animals, or electrical equipment.
- Stable Surface: Operate the pressure washer on a level, stable surface to prevent tipping.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the operating area.
- Water Connection: Ensure all water connections are secure to prevent leaks and maintain proper pressure.
- Engine Oil: Always check engine oil levels before each use. Operating with insufficient oil can cause severe engine damage.

4.2 Fuel and Oil
- Add Engine Oil: Before first use, fill the engine crankcase with the recommended 4-stroke engine oil (not included). Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity. Do not overfill.
- Add Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Engine
- Ensure the unit is on a level surface and connected to a water source.
- Open the fuel valve.
- Set the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (if the engine is cold).
- Set the engine switch to 'ON'.
- Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
5.2 Using the Spray Gun and Nozzles
The pressure washer comes with 5 quick-connect nozzles, each designed for different applications:
- Red (0°): Pin-point jet for intense cleaning of small, stubborn spots. Use with extreme caution.
- Yellow (15°): Narrow fan spray for concentrated cleaning on hard surfaces.
- Green (25°): Medium fan spray for general cleaning of most surfaces.
- White (40°): Wide fan spray for gentle cleaning of delicate surfaces.
- Black (65°/Soap): Low-pressure wide spray for applying detergent.

5.3 Applying Detergent
To apply detergent, ensure the black (65°/Soap) nozzle is attached. The pressure washer will draw detergent from an external container via a separate hose (if included or connected to the pump's detergent inlet). Follow detergent manufacturer's instructions for mixing ratios.

5.4 Shutting Down
- Release the spray gun trigger.
- Turn the engine switch to 'OFF'.
- Close the fuel valve.
- Disconnect the water supply.
- Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.
6.1 Engine Maintenance
- Engine Oil: Check oil level before each use. Change oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 25-50 hours or annually.
- Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter every 25-50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug annually or every 100 hours. Replace if worn.
6.2 Pump and Nozzle Maintenance
- Water Filter: Regularly inspect and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Nozzles: Clean clogged nozzles using the provided nozzle cleaning tool or a thin wire.
- Winter Storage: If storing in freezing temperatures, drain all water from the pump and hoses, or use a pump protector/antifreeze solution.
