Operating Instructions
Using the Day Bed
The main day bed functions as both a seating area and a primary sleeping surface. Place a standard twin-size mattress (not included) on the slats. For seating, arrange pillows against the backrest for comfort.

Using the Trundle Bed
The trundle bed provides an additional sleeping area, conveniently stored beneath the main day bed.
- To Extend: Gently pull the trundle frame out from under the main day bed using the integrated handle or front panel. The wheels will allow it to slide smoothly.
- To Retract: Push the trundle frame back under the main day bed until it is fully concealed. Ensure no bedding or objects obstruct its movement.

Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: The upholstery fabric is polyester. Spot clean only. Use a clean, damp cloth with mild soap for spills. Blot gently; do not rub. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the upholstered surfaces with a soft brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain structural integrity.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading of the fabric.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, strong detergents, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the fabric and finish.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed feels wobbly or unstable. | Loose hardware. | Check and tighten all bolts and screws. Ensure all connections are secure. |
| Trundle does not slide smoothly. | Obstruction under the bed; wheels are dirty or damaged; trundle frame is misaligned. | Clear any objects from under the bed. Clean trundle wheels. Check trundle assembly for correct alignment and ensure all hardware is tight. |
| Squeaking noises. | Loose connections; friction between components. | Re-tighten all hardware. If squeaking persists, identify the source and apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to friction points, avoiding fabric. |
