Setup
1. Installation
Follow these steps to physically install the lock on your door. Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8" to 2-1/8" (35mm - 55mm) and the backset is 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm).

- Prepare the Door: Use the provided template to mark and drill holes if necessary.
- Install the Latch: Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure the word "UP" on the deadbolt faces upwards. Secure with two 25mm screws.
- Install Exterior Keypad: Pass the connection wire through the bottom-right hole of the mounting plate. Align the protruding position of the latch with the concave position of the lock body and insert the exterior keypad.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the door using two screws, ensuring the wire passes through the correct opening.
- Connect Interior Unit: Connect the power and communication cables from the exterior unit to the interior unit.
- Mount Interior Unit: Attach the interior unit to the mounting plate, ensuring all wires are tucked away. Secure with screws.
- Install Batteries: Insert 8 AA batteries into the interior unit. The lock will automatically identify the unlocking direction.

2. Initial Setup (Administrator & User Management)
After installation, set up the administrator password and add user credentials.
- Set Administrator Password: Briefly press the setup button (located on the interior unit, under the battery cover). Enter a 6-9 digit password twice, then press the unlock button to confirm.
- Add User Passwords: Briefly press the setup button, enter the administrator password, and press the unlock button. Then, press '1' to add a password. Enter a 6-9 digit password twice, then press the unlock button to confirm.
- Add User Fingerprints: Briefly press the setup button, enter the administrator password, and press the unlock button. Then, press '2' to add a fingerprint. Place your finger on the sensor four times as prompted.

3. App Pairing & Network Configuration
The ARPHA D280W-H300 supports Wi-Fi connectivity for remote control via a mobile application. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G.
- Download the App: Search for the ARPHA app in your device's app store.
- Initiate Pairing: Briefly press the setup button, enter the administrator password, and press the unlock button. Then, press '5' to enter network allocation mode.
- Pair Device in App: Open the ARPHA app, ensure Bluetooth is enabled. The app should automatically detect the lock. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device and enter your 2.4G Wi-Fi credentials.

Operating
Unlocking Methods
Your ARPHA smart lock offers five ways to unlock:
- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in approximately 0.3 seconds.
- Passcode: Enter your registered 6-9 digit passcode on the keypad, then press the unlock button.
- Mobile App: Use the ARPHA app to remotely unlock the door.
- Voice Control (Alexa): If integrated with Alexa, use voice commands to unlock.
- Physical Key: In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided physical key.

Advanced Features
- Auto-Lock: The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period. To adjust this setting, briefly press the setup button, enter the administrator password, press the unlock button, then press '4' for settings, and '1' for auto-lock. You can set the auto-lock delay from 5 to 900 seconds.
- Anti-Peep Passcode: To prevent others from observing your passcode, you can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence.
- Temporary Passwords: Generate temporary passwords via the mobile app for guests or service providers.
- Volume Setting: Adjust the voice prompt volume. Briefly press the setup button, enter the administrator password, press the unlock button, then press '4' for settings, and '2' for voice prompt volume. Choose from silent (1), low (2), medium (3), or high (4).

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The lock uses 8 AA batteries. When the battery level is low, you will receive a reminder. Replace all 8 batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

- Emergency Power: If batteries deplete completely, you can use a USB-C power bank to temporarily power the lock via the hidden USB-C port on the exterior unit.
Troubleshooting
- App Connectivity Issues: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G. If issues persist, try re-pairing the device as described in the "App Pairing & Network Configuration" section.
- Forgotten Administrator Password: If you forget the administrator password, you can perform a factory reset. Briefly press the setup button for 7 seconds, then press the unlock button to confirm. This will reset all settings and user data.
- Verification Failed (Password/Fingerprint): Ensure you are entering the correct password or placing your finger correctly on the sensor. If the administrator password needs to be changed, follow the modification steps.
- Low Battery Alert: Replace batteries immediately when a low battery alert is received. Use the USB-C port for emergency power if needed.
