Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your aquarium light.

  • Cleaning: The light is waterproof. Regularly wipe the LED surface and the aluminum body with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, water spots, and algae buildup. Ensure the power is disconnected before cleaning.
  • Heat Dissipation: The light features a dual-layer aluminum body with multi-channel heat dissipation. Ensure that the ventilation fins are not obstructed to allow for efficient cooling.
  • Power Supply: Monitor the power supply for excessive heat. If the power supply becomes unusually hot, especially when operating at 100% brightness, consider reducing the brightness to below 60% to prevent overheating and potential damage.
