Assembly Instructions
This is a loose part kit and requires assembly. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare the PCB: Ensure the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is clean and free of debris. The PCB size is 176x50mm.
- Install LED Modules:
- The LED modules are green. The "BG" printed on the module indicates green, and the printed pins are for the positive (+) pole.
- Pay special attention to the color and polarity of each LED module when soldering. Ensure the positive (+) pin of the LED module corresponds to the "+" marking on the PCB.
- Install the 33 green LED modules into their designated positions on the PCB. It is recommended to solder the LED modules last, after confirming their correct orientation.
- Assemble the Enclosure: Use the provided acrylic panels and hardware to construct the protective casing around the assembled PCB and LED modules.

Operating Instructions
The spectrum analyzer offers various display modes and adjustable settings:
- Display Flip Function: Allows for orientation adjustment of the display.
- Brightness Adjustment: Features 16 levels of brightness to suit different environments.
- Spectrum Adjustments: Individually adjust the main landing speed, peak hold time, and descent speed of the spectrum display.
- Display Modes: Choose between smooth display for fluid transitions or bottomless display mode for a unique visual effect. The device utilizes a professional constant current driver chip with blanking to prevent light and dark flickering.
Video 3: This video demonstrates various display modes and settings of a VFD Audio Spectrum Analyzer, including different visual patterns and adjustments. It shows how to cycle through modes and customize the display.
Video 4: This video illustrates the knob control for selecting modes, colors, dimmer settings, speed, and band options on an audio spectrum analyzer. It shows the user interacting with the knob to change display parameters.
Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
- Regularly check connections for security.
Troubleshooting
- No Display:
- Check power connection and ensure the power supply meets the 5V/600mA requirement.
- Verify all LED modules are correctly installed and soldered with correct polarity.
- Incorrect Display:
- Ensure the audio input cable is securely connected to both the source and the analyzer.
- Check the audio source for proper output.
- Adjust display settings (mode, speed, brightness) using the control knob.
- Flickering LEDs: The device uses a constant current driver chip to prevent flickering. If flickering occurs, ensure the power supply is stable and meets specifications.
