2. Setup and Connection

The AMPBANK M256 thermal camera is designed for easy integration with Android smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Download the App: Search for the official "ThermCam" app on the Google Play Store. Ensure you download the correct application for your device.
  2. Enable OTG (On-The-Go): On your Android device, navigate to your settings and ensure that the OTG function is enabled. This allows your device to connect to external USB accessories.
  3. Connect the Camera: Directly plug the AMPBANK M256 into your smartphone or tablet's USB-C port. For devices with other port types or for more flexible positioning, use the included 50cm USB extension cable.
  4. PC Connection: For PC use, connect the camera via the USB extension cable to a USB port on your computer. Download and install the TCView 2.0 software from the official AMPBANK website for advanced analysis and features.

4. Maintenance
