1. Introduction

4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Lights: Carefully remove the string lights and all components from the packaging. Untangle the string lights gently.
2. Inspect Bulbs: Ensure all ST38 LED bulbs are securely tightened into their sockets. If any bulb is loose, gently twist it clockwise until snug.
3. Plan Installation: Determine the desired path for your string lights. The 120FT length provides ample coverage for various spaces.
4. Hang the Lights: Use the integrated clips on each socket to hang the lights along wires, pergolas, fences, or other structures. Zip ties (included) can provide additional security.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a standard AC outlet. Ensure the connection is secure and protected from direct water exposure, although the lights themselves are waterproof.

5. Operating Instructions

The Brightever string lights can be operated using the included remote control or the button on the power adapter.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

• ON/OFF: Press the central button to turn the lights on or off.
• Dimming: Use the 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% buttons for preset brightness levels. Use the + and - buttons for stepless dimming to fine-tune brightness.
• Lighting Modes:
  • Lighting: Provides a stable, continuous light.
  • Flash: Lights will flash on and off. Use + and - to adjust flash speed.
  • Breath: Lights will slowly fade in and out. Use + and - to adjust breath speed.
• Timer: Press 3H or 5H to set the lights to automatically turn off after 3 or 5 hours, respectively. Press ON/OFF to cancel the timer.

5.2 Power Adapter Button

The button on the power adapter can also cycle through the lighting modes (Lighting, Flash, Breath) and turn the lights off. It does not control dimming or timer functions.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the bulbs and cable with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Bulb Replacement: If a bulb does not light up, first ensure it is tightened correctly. If it still doesn't work, replace it with one of the included spare ST38 LED bulbs. Gently twist the old bulb counter-clockwise to remove and twist the new bulb clockwise until secure.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the lights in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

• Lights not turning on:
  • Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  • Ensure all bulbs are tightly screwed into their sockets.
  • Verify the remote control batteries are correctly inserted and have power.
• Lights flashing randomly or unexpectedly:
  • This can sometimes occur due to external interference or specific environmental conditions (e.g., extreme cold).
  • Try resetting the lights by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
  • Ensure the remote control is not accidentally being pressed or interfered with by other devices.
• Remote control not responding:
  • Replace the AAA batteries in the remote control.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the power adapter's receiver.
