The Callmate QHD Dash Cam is designed to ensure your journeys are documented in crystal clear detail, providing peace of mind and enhanced safety. It captures every moment in high quality video, whether you're commuting, road tripping, or navigating urban traffic.
2. Safety Information
- Do not operate the dash camera while driving. Adjust settings only when the vehicle is safely parked.
- Ensure the dash camera is securely mounted and does not obstruct the driver's view or interfere with airbag deployment.
- Use only the original charger and accessories provided with the device. Using unauthorized accessories may damage the product and void the warranty.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Regularly back up important footage to prevent data loss.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1. What's in the Box:
- 1x CALLMATE Roadventurer Car Dash Cam
- 1x Car Charger
- 1x User Manual
4.2. Inserting a Memory Card:
The dash camera supports TF (microSD) cards up to 256GB. Ensure the card is formatted before first use for optimal performance. Insert the TF card into the designated slot until it clicks into place.
4.3. Mounting the Dash Camera:
The CALLMATE Roadventurer can be mounted on the windshield or dashboard using the provided adhesive tape.
- Choose a location that does not obstruct the driver's view or interfere with airbags. A position behind the rearview mirror is often ideal.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure strong adhesion.
- Peel off the protective film from the adhesive tape on the dash camera mount.
- Press the mount firmly onto the chosen surface for at least 30 seconds.
- Adjust the camera angle for optimal front and interior visibility. The camera offers 340° rotation and 50° tilt.

4.4. Power Connection:
Connect the provided car charger to the USB-C input port on the dash camera and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The device will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle starts.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Operation:
- Power On/Off: The device powers on automatically with vehicle ignition. To manually power on/off, press and hold the Power Button.
- Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red indicator light or icon on the display will confirm recording is active.
- Loop Recording: The dash camera records in continuous loops. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files will be overwritten.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In case of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically lock the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.
- Parking Monitor: When enabled, the dash camera will automatically start recording if it detects a collision or vibration while the vehicle is parked.
- Night Vision: Enhanced low-light performance ensures clear recordings even in dark conditions.
- Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): This feature balances exposure to provide clear video in challenging lighting conditions, such as glare or low light.

5.2. App Control and Wi-Fi Connectivity:
The CALLMATE Roadventurer supports Wi-Fi connectivity and can be controlled via a dedicated smartphone application. This allows for live video access, playback, and settings adjustment.
- Download the official CALLMATE dash cam app from your smartphone's app store.
- Turn on the dash camera.
- Enable Wi-Fi on the dash camera through its settings menu.
- On your smartphone, connect to the dash camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the dash cam screen or in the manual).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add and connect to your camera.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and display screen. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Memory Card: It is recommended to format the memory card every 2-4 weeks to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption, especially with continuous loop recording. Back up any important files before formatting.
- Firmware Updates: Check the official CALLMATE website or app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your device updated ensures the best performance and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
