Setup
Power Source
The Deli EM110-12 calculator operates on a dual power system: solar and battery. Under sufficient ambient light, the calculator will automatically utilize solar power for energy efficiency. In low light conditions or when solar power is insufficient, the internal battery will provide power, ensuring uninterrupted performance. No initial setup is required for power; simply ensure adequate lighting or that the battery is functional.
Initial Use
To turn on the calculator and clear any previous entries, press the ON/AC button. The display should then show "0", indicating it is ready for use.
Operating Instructions
Basic Arithmetic Operations
- Addition (+): Enter the first number, press +, enter the second number, then press =.
- Subtraction (-): Enter the first number, press -, enter the second number, then press =.
- Multiplication (x): Enter the first number, press x, enter the second number, then press =.
- Division (÷): Enter the first number, press ÷, enter the second number, then press =.
Clear Functions
- ON/AC (All Clear): Clears all entries and calculations, resetting the calculator to zero.
- CE/C (Clear Entry/Clear): Clears the last entered number. Pressing it twice may clear the entire calculation depending on the sequence.
- CORRECT (->): Corrects the last digit entered, deleting it from the right.
Memory Functions
- M+ (Memory Plus): Adds the displayed number to the memory.
- M- (Memory Minus): Subtracts the displayed number from the memory.
- MRC (Memory Recall/Clear): Press once to recall the memory value. Press twice to clear the memory.
Other Functions
- % (Percentage): Used for percentage calculations. Example: To calculate 10% of 100, enter 100, press x, enter 10, press %. The result is 10.
- √ (Square Root): Calculates the square root of the displayed number. Enter a number, then press √.
- +/- (Sign Change): Changes the sign of the displayed number (positive to negative, or negative to positive).
- GT (Grand Total): Displays the grand total of all calculations performed since the last GT clear.
- MU (Mark Up): Used for profit margin calculations.
- CHECK / AUTO REPLAY: Allows reviewing previous calculation steps.
- SET / RECALL TAX / STORE TAX: These buttons are for tax rate setting and calculation. Refer to specific tax calculation instructions if needed.
