Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when the water bucket is full. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of air space on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.
  4. Water Drainage Options:
    • Manual Emptying (Bucket): The unit will collect water in the internal bucket. When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate.
    • Continuous Drainage (Hose): For continuous operation without manual emptying, attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain port located on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or suitable receptacle.
