3. Setup

3.1 Installing Batteries (Shark)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the shark.
  2. Use the provided screwdriver to loosen the screws on the battery compartment cover.
  3. Carefully open the cover.
  4. Connect one rechargeable battery to the shark's battery connector.
  5. Place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover.
  6. Secure the cover with the screws using the screwdriver.

3.2 Installing Batteries (Remote Control)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover.

3.3 Charging the Shark Battery

Use the provided USB charging cable to charge the shark's rechargeable batteries. Connect the battery to the charging cable, then plug the USB end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, USB adapter). The indicator light on the charger will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 60 minutes and provides about 25 minutes of play time per battery.

The remote control shark is designed for water use only. Ensure the shark is placed in water before attempting to operate it.

ProblemPossible Solution
Shark does not move in water.Ensure the shark's battery is fully charged and correctly installed. Verify the remote control batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. Make sure the shark is fully submerged in water for the propellers to engage.
Remote control not responding.Check remote control battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the remote control is within the operating range (up to 110 feet). Re-pair the remote with the shark if connection is lost (refer to pairing instructions in the full manual if available).
Water spray function not working.Check if the shark is sufficiently submerged in water. Ensure the water intake for the spray function is not blocked.
Short play time.Ensure batteries are fully charged. Consider using the second provided rechargeable battery for extended play.
