Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Ankilo Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the device's USB-C port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 25 hours of playtime.

TX Mode (Transmitter) - Streaming Audio Out

In TX mode, the device transmits audio from non-Bluetooth sources (like TVs, PCs, MP3 players, or airplane entertainment systems) to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Connect Audio Source: Insert the 3.5mm audio cable into the TX audio port of the Ankilo device. Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack (e.g., headphone jack) of your TV, PC, MP3 player, or airplane entertainment system. For airplane use, you may need to use the included dual-pin adapter.
  2. Power On: Long-press the power button on the Ankilo device for 3 seconds to turn it on. The device will automatically enter pairing mode (indicator lights will flash).
  3. Prepare Bluetooth Headphones/Speakers: Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode. Refer to their respective manuals for instructions.
  4. Pairing: The Ankilo device will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices (this may take 1-3 minutes). Once your headphones/speakers are found and connected, the indicator light on the Ankilo device will become steady.
  5. Dual Connection (Optional): To connect a second pair of Bluetooth headphones/speakers, put the second device into pairing mode. Double-click any button on the Ankilo device to initiate pairing with the second device. Once connected, both devices will receive audio.

RX Mode (Receiver) - Receiving Audio In

In RX mode, the device receives audio from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or laptop and plays it through wired speakers, car stereos, or home audio systems.

  1. Connect Audio Output: Insert the 3.5mm audio cable into the RX audio port of the Ankilo device. Connect the other end of the cable to the AUX input of your wired speaker, car stereo, or home audio system.
  2. Power On: Long-press the power button on the Ankilo device for 3 seconds to turn it on. The device will automatically enter pairing mode (indicator lights will flash).

Then, double-click any button on the Ankilo device. On your second Bluetooth device, search for "TX20" and connect. The device will seamlessly switch between the two connected sources.
