4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and a USB power source. The digital display on the case will indicate the charging status and battery level.

4.2 Pairing with Your Device
- Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the case has sufficient power.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings.
- Search for "M79" or "Q40" in the list of available devices and select it to connect.
- Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt, and the earbuds will be ready for use.
Note: A QR code can only be linked to one Bluetooth device and cannot be linked to multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time.

4.3 Wearing the Earbuds
The ANSTEN AI01 earbuds feature an open-ear clip design for comfortable and secure fit. Gently insert the earbud into your ear and tuck the clip behind your ear for stability.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Translation Modes
The earbuds support various translation modes via a dedicated smartphone application (refer to the app's instructions for detailed usage):
- AI Chat Mode: Engage in real-time conversations with an AI assistant.
- Free Conversation Mode: Facilitates natural, continuous translation during face-to-face conversations.
- Translator Mode: For one-way translation, where one person speaks and the earbuds translate for the listener.
- Phone-Earbud Mode: Integrates translation into phone calls.
5.2 Music Playback and Calls
Once paired, the earbuds function as standard Bluetooth headphones for audio playback and phone calls. Use the touch controls as described in Section 6.

The ANSTEN AI01 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. The touch points are located on the outer surface of the earbuds.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning

7.2 Storage
When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
7.3 Water Resistance
The earbuds are IPX7 waterproof, meaning they can resist sweat and daily splashing. However, they are not designed for swimming or submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
