4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your electric bike.

4.1 Battery Care

  • Charge the battery regularly, even if the bike is not in use, to maintain its health.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

4.2 Tire Maintenance

The 20''x3.0'' fat tires offer strong grip across various terrains. Check tire pressure regularly (recommended 25 PSI, as per a customer review) and inflate as needed. Monthly inflation helps prevent premature tire damage.

4.3 Brakes and Gears

  • Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary.
  • Ensure brake levers are responsive and provide adequate stopping power.
  • Keep the chain clean and lubricated for smooth gear changes and to prevent wear.

4.4 General Cleaning

Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components. The bike's IPX54 waterproof rating protects against splashes, but it is not designed for submersion.
