5. Setup and Installation

- Install the Strike Plate: Align the strike plate with the latch mechanism on the door frame. Mark and chisel out the area for the strike plate to sit flush. Secure the strike plate with screws. If applicable, insert the plastic spacer/dust box into the frame before securing the strike plate.
