Maintenance
Battery Life
The sensors are powered by 2 AAA batteries and boast a battery life of up to 2 years, reducing the frequency of battery replacements.

Calibration
Each sensor includes a calibration function within the app settings, featuring a simple slider for temperature and humidity correction. This allows users to fine-tune readings if comparison with a known accurate device indicates a discrepancy.
Troubleshooting
- Connectivity Issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi Gateway is plugged in and connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Verify that your phone's Bluetooth is enabled when initially pairing sensors. If remote access fails, check your internet connection.
- Inaccurate Readings: Allow sensors to stabilize for a few hours after placement. If readings still seem incorrect, use the in-app calibration feature to adjust them based on a trusted reference thermometer/hygrometer.
- App Notifications: Check your app settings to ensure notifications are enabled for the Govee Home app and that alert thresholds are set correctly for each sensor. Also, verify email alert settings if applicable.
- Battery Replacement: If a sensor stops reporting data, check the battery level in the app or replace the AAA batteries.
