3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, connect the keyboard to a computer's USB port using the provided USB-C cable for charging. The smart screen will indicate battery level. Ensure the keyboard is fully charged for optimal wireless performance.

3.2 Wired Connection (USB-C)

To use the keyboard in wired mode, simply connect the USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port. The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use. This mode also charges the keyboard.

3.3 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB dongle stored in the compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
2. Plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
3. On the keyboard, use the multi-function knob to select the 2.4G mode. The smart screen will display "2.4G" and the connection status.
4. The keyboard should automatically connect.

3.4 Bluetooth Connection (BT1, BT2, BT3)

The AULA S99 Pro Keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth connections (BT1, BT2, BT3).

1. On the keyboard, use the multi-function knob to select one of the Bluetooth modes (BT1, BT2, or BT3). The smart screen will display the selected mode.
2. Press and hold the FN key simultaneously with the corresponding Bluetooth key (FN+1 for BT1, FN+2 for BT2, FN+3 for BT3) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for "AULA S99 Pro" in the list of available devices.
4. Select the keyboard to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, and the smart screen will confirm the connection.
5. Repeat for additional Bluetooth devices using BT2 and BT3.

To switch between connected Bluetooth devices, simply use the multi-function knob to select the desired BT mode, or press FN+1, FN+2, or FN+3.

4. Operating Modes and Functions

4.1 Smart Screen Display

The integrated LED smart screen provides crucial information at a glance:

• Battery Level: Displays the current battery percentage.
• Connection Status: Indicates the active connection mode (Bluetooth, 2.4G, or Wired).
• System Compatibility: Shows the currently selected operating system mode (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS).

• FN + Q/W/E/R: Switch system compatibility (Android/Windows/Mac/iOS).
• FN + ~ / ! / @ / #: Switch between 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth connections (BT1, BT2, BT3).
