3. Position Fan in Attic: Take the fan unit into the attic and place it over the ceiling cutout. The fan motor head hangs from the attic rafters, with the damper box positioned over the ceiling opening.

4. Secure Damper Box: Attach the damper box to the ceiling joists using the included screws.
5. Install Ceiling Grille: From below, install the air intake grille into the ceiling cutout using the provided screws.
