3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

1. Before first use, fully charge the trimmer. Connect the USB Type C charging adapter to the trimmer and plug it into a power source.
2. The digital LED display will indicate the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
3. Once fully charged, the trimmer provides an operating time of 3-4 hours.

3.2 Attaching Guide Combs

• Select the desired guide comb (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, or 12mm) for your preferred cutting length.
• Align the comb with the trimmer blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
• To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

• To turn on the trimmer, slide the power switch located on the side of the device.
• To turn off, slide the switch back to the original position.

4.2 Adjusting Cutting Length

• Without Guide Comb: The trimmer offers multi-stage length adjustment from 0.8mm to 2mm. Use the lever on the side of the trimmer to select the desired length.
• With Guide Comb: Attach one of the 6 guide combs for fixed cutting lengths (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm).

4.3 Dual Speed Operation

The TR-4100 features a dual-speed motor. Press the power button briefly after turning on to switch between the two speed settings, allowing for precise control and efficient trimming for different hair types and densities.

4.4 Trimming Hair and Beard

• Ensure hair is clean and dry before trimming.
• Start with a longer comb setting if you are unsure of the desired length.
• Hold the trimmer with the blade flat against the skin and move it slowly against the direction of hair growth.
• For detailed work or outlining, remove the guide comb and use the adjustable lever for precise short cuts.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Blades

2. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any hair clippings from the blades and the trimmer head.
3. The blades are not designed to be easily removable for cleaning, so ensure thorough brushing while attached.

5.2 Lubrication

2. Apply a few drops of the included 55 ml machine oil onto the blades while the trimmer is off.
3. Turn the trimmer on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. Wipe off any excess oil.

5.3 Battery Care

• Store the trimmer in a cool, dry place when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

• Trimmer not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the charging cable and adapter for damage.
