Initial Calibration and Placement:
Upon first use, the device will enter a "DATA COLLECTING" phase and requires approximately 24 hours to calibrate and display initial readings. During this period, it is crucial not to move the unit to ensure accurate calibration.
For optimal accuracy, place the detector:
- At least 20 inches (50 cm) above the ground.
- At least 60 inches (150 cm) away from windows, doors, or vents.
- In a major room where you spend significant time (e.g., living room, bedroom, basement). Avoid hallways or areas with high airflow.
- Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight or moisture.
