3. Setup Guide

3.1 SIM and TF Card Installation

The DOOGEE V40 supports dual 5G SIM cards and one TF (microSD) card for expandable storage up to 2TB. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray. Carefully place your SIM cards and TF card into their respective slots, ensuring correct orientation. Close the tray securely to maintain the device's waterproof and dustproof integrity.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your DOOGEE V40. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to the provided 33W fast charger. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress. An 8680mAh battery provides extended usage, and 33W fast charging minimizes downtime.

4. Operating Your Device

4.1 Power On/Off and Restart

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the DOOGEE logo appears.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Power off" from the options.
• To Restart: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Restart" from the options.

4.2 Display and Navigation

The DOOGEE V40 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Navigate the Android 14 operating system using touch gestures. Swipe up, down, left, or right to access different menus, notifications, and applications.

4.3 Camera Functions

Your DOOGEE V40 is equipped with a 108MP AI main camera, a 20MP Night Vision camera, and a 16MP front camera. Open the Camera app to capture photos and videos. Explore various modes such as HDR, Underwater, Pro, and Panorama for diverse shooting scenarios. The 20MP Night Vision camera is specifically designed for clear images in low-light conditions.

4.4 Connectivity

• 5G Network: The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor enables fast 5G connectivity. Ensure your SIM card supports 5G and your area has 5G coverage.
• Wi-Fi 6E: Connect to Wi-Fi networks for internet access. Wi-Fi 6E provides faster and more stable wireless connections.
