3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the ports and buttons on the KVM switch for proper connection and operation.
3.1 Front Panel
- USB-C 3.0 Port: For connecting USB-C peripherals.
- USB 3.0 Port: For connecting USB-A peripherals.

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your MT-VIKI KVM Switch:
- Power Connection: Connect the provided USB A-C power cable to the DC 5V port on the KVM switch and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on one of your computers.
- Monitor Connection: Connect your monitor to the HDMI OUT port on the KVM switch using an HDMI cable (not included).
- Computer 1 Connection:
- Connect an HDMI cable from your first computer's HDMI output to the HDMI IN1 port on the KVM switch.
- Connect one of the provided USB A to B cables from your first computer's USB 3.0 port to the USB IN1 port on the KVM switch.
- Computer 2 Connection:
- Connect an HDMI cable from your second computer's HDMI output to the HDMI IN2 port on the KVM switch.
- Connect the second provided USB A to B cable from your second computer's USB 3.0 port to the USB IN2 port on the KVM switch.
- Keyboard and Mouse Connection: Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel of the KVM switch.
- Additional USB Devices: Connect any other USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 peripherals (e.g., USB flash drives, printers, mobile hard drives) to the USB 3.0 and USB-C 3.0 ports on the front panel.
- Wired Remote Switch: Plug the wired remote switch into the CONTROL port on the front panel for convenient switching.

5. Operating Instructions
The MT-VIKI KVM Switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:
- Front Panel Button: Press the "1" or "2" button on the front of the KVM switch to select the corresponding computer.
- Wired Remote Switch: Press the button on the wired remote switch to toggle between Computer 1 and Computer 2.
When switching, there may be a brief delay (approximately 3 seconds) as the computer recognizes the USB connection. This is normal operation.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KVM switch:
- Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all cable connections are secure to prevent signal loss or intermittent operation.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the KVM switch.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KVM switch, refer to the following common solutions:
