Important Note: After receiving the package, allow the fridge to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, ensuring optimal performance and preventing damage to the cooling system.

2. Important Safety Information

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your refrigerator, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch cold surfaces, especially when the appliance is operating.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking and Placement:

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
  2. Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface. Use the adjustable leveling feet to ensure the appliance is level. This is crucial for proper operation and door alignment.
  3. Allow at least 24 hours for the refrigerator to stand upright before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the compressor oils and refrigerants to settle.
  4. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum clearance of 4 inches (10 cm) from walls and other objects to allow for proper air circulation and heat dissipation.

4.2 Electrical Connection:

5.1 Temperature Control:

5.2 Loading the Refrigerator:

  • Do not overload the refrigerator. Allow space for air to circulate around items for efficient cooling.
  • Utilize the adjustable glass shelves to organize items effectively. Shelves can be easily removed for cleaning or to accommodate taller items.
  • Place eggs in the dedicated egg trays on the inside door.

5.3 Quiet Operation:

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • The adjustable glass shelves are easily removable for thorough cleaning.
  • Wipe down door gaskets regularly to ensure a tight seal.
  • Clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months) to maintain efficiency. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.

6.2 Defrosting:

This refrigerator features a manual defrost system for the freezer compartment. Frost buildup can reduce cooling efficiency.

  • When frost on the freezer walls is about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick, it's time to defrost.
  • Unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food items from the freezer and place them in a cooler.
  • Leave the freezer door open to allow frost to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
  • Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to remove frost, as this can damage the cooling system.
  • Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry, plug the refrigerator back in, and return food items after the temperature has stabilized.
