Setup

Powering the Device

Your Greadio CD Boombox Player can be powered in two ways:

  1. Using Type-C Cable (Recommended for Home Use):

    Connect the provided Type-C charging cord to the Type-C port on the boombox. Plug the other end into a DC 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet. The unit will power on.

  2. Using C-Batteries (For Portable Use):

    For outdoor or portable use, you can power the boombox with 4 C-size batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

Initial Power On

Press the /FUNC. button to turn on the boombox. The digital display will light up.

Operating Instructions

Playing a CD

  1. Ensure the boombox is powered on.
  2. Gently lift the CD compartment lid located on the top of the unit.
  3. Place a CD (CD/CD-R/CD-RW compatible) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  4. Close the CD compartment lid securely.
  5. The boombox will automatically detect the CD and begin playback. If not, press the EQ/►▮▮ button to start playing.

Volume Control

Use the VOL- and VOL+ buttons to adjust the playback volume.

Track Navigation

  • Press the ◀◀ button to go to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track.
  • Press the ►► button to skip to the next track.

EQ Modes

Press the EQ/►▮▮ button repeatedly to cycle through the five available EQ modes: Classical, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and Flat. Select the mode that best suits your music genre or personal preference.

Repeat and Program Functions

The boombox supports customizable playback options:

  • Press the REP/PROG. button once for Single Cycle (repeats current track).
  • Press it again for Repeat All (repeats all tracks on the CD).
  • Press it a third time for Random Play (plays tracks in a random order).
  • To program a custom playlist:
    1. In CD mode, press REP/PROG. to enter programming mode. "P01" will blink on the display.
    2. Use the ◀◀ or ►► buttons to select the desired track.
    3. Press REP/PROG. again to confirm the track and move to the next program slot (e.g., "P02").
    4. Repeat steps b and c to add more tracks to your program.
    5. Once programming is complete, press the EQ/►▮▮ button twice to start playing your programmed list.

Using AUX Input

The 3.5mm AUX input allows you to connect external audio devices:

  1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX port on the boombox.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player, computer).
  3. Press the /FUNC. button to switch to AUX mode. The display may indicate "AUX".
  4. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be amplified through the boombox speakers.
