Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Flieks Full Size Platform Bed. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new bed frame. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

Safety Information

• Always assemble the bed on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage to the product or your floor.
• Ensure all parts are securely fastened before use. Periodically check and tighten all connections.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs (181 kg).
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly to avoid choking hazards.
• Use only the provided hardware. Substituting parts may compromise safety and void the warranty.
• For the charging station, ensure the power outlet is easily accessible and unplug when not in use or during cleaning. Do not overload the charging ports.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended to have two people for easier and safer assembly. Please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your package. The general steps are outlined below:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Compare them with the parts list to ensure everything is present.
2. Assemble the Headboard and Storage Unit: Attach the upholstered headboard to the main storage shelf unit as per the detailed instructions.
3. Connect Side Rails: Attach the side rails to the headboard/storage unit and the footboard. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially.
4. Install Bed Slats: Securely place and fasten the 10 bed slats across the frame. These provide support for your mattress.
5. Assemble and Insert Drawers: Assemble the two under-bed drawers according to the instructions and slide them into their designated spaces.
6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
7. Connect Charging Station: Plug the charging station's power cord into a wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Storage Shelves

The integrated storage shelves are designed for convenient access to books, decor, and personal items. Arrange items neatly to maximize space and prevent clutter.

Under-bed Drawers

The two spacious under-bed drawers provide additional storage for bedding, clothing, or other belongings. Pull them out smoothly using the integrated handles. Ensure they are fully closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

Charging Station

The built-in charging station features 2 standard plug outlets and 2 USB ports. To use, simply plug the bed's power cord into a wall outlet. You can then connect your electronic devices for charging or power. Avoid spilling liquids near the charging station.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood and MDF surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the upholstered headboard, spot clean with a mild fabric cleaner as needed.
• Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Charging Station: Keep the charging station free of dust and debris. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the charging unit yourself.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Bed feels wobbly or unstable.

Solution: Check all assembly bolts and screws. Ensure they are fully tightened. If the issue persists, disassemble and reassemble, paying close attention to each connection point.

Issue: Drawers do not slide smoothly.

Solution: Ensure the drawers are assembled correctly and are not overloaded. Check the drawer glides for any obstructions or damage. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the glides if needed.

Issue: Charging station is not working.

Solution: Verify that the bed's power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Test the outlet with another device. If the issue continues, contact customer support.
