3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your ANRAN solar security cameras:

Initial Charging: Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using a 5V USB charger (not included). This ensures the camera has enough power to connect to Wi-Fi and receive initial solar charging.
Download the ANRAN App: Search for "ANRAN" in your mobile app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and download the official application.
Create an Account: Open the ANRAN app and register a new account. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration process.
Add Device:
- Tap the "+" icon in the app to add a new device.
- Select your camera model (C3 or Q01) from the list.
- Power on the camera. The camera will enter pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED light).
- Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password in the app.
- The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone's screen in front of the camera lens (approx. 15-20 cm / 6-8 inches) until you hear a confirmation sound from the camera.
- Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup.
Mounting Location:
- Choose a location with strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal coverage.
- Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours each day to maintain battery charge. Avoid shaded areas.
- Mount the camera at a height that provides optimal viewing angle and motion detection range.
Installation: Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to securely attach the camera to a wall or ceiling. For the Q01, ensure the solar panel is positioned to maximize sun exposure.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View and Playback

Live View: Open the ANRAN app and tap on the camera's name to access the live video feed.
Playback: Access recorded events from the app's playback section. You can filter by date and event type.

4.2 Motion Detection Settings

Navigate to the camera settings in the app.
Adjust motion detection sensitivity to minimize false alarms.
Set up detection zones to focus on specific areas.
Enable or disable alarm sound and spotlight activation upon detection.

4.3 Two-Way Audio

While in live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone.

4.4 Night Vision Modes (C3)

In camera settings, select between black and white night vision or color night vision based on your preference and lighting conditions.

4.5 Pan and Tilt Control (Q01)

In the live view for the Q01 camera, use the on-screen joystick or directional arrows to remotely pan (left/right) and tilt (up/down) the camera lens.

4.6 Multi-User Sharing

From the camera settings, select "Share Device" to generate a QR code.
Other users with the ANRAN app can scan this QR code to gain access to the camera's live view and features (up to 4 devices simultaneously).

4.7 Alexa Integration

Enable the ANRAN skill in your Alexa app.
Link your ANRAN account.
Use voice commands like "Alexa, show me [camera name]" to view the live feed on compatible Alexa devices.

5. Maintenance

Clean Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may reduce charging efficiency.
Check Battery Status: Monitor the battery level in the ANRAN app. If the battery consistently runs low, ensure the solar panel is receiving adequate sunlight.
Firmware Updates: Check the ANRAN app regularly for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
Clear View: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions (e.g., spiderwebs, leaves) that could impair image quality or motion detection.

6. Troubleshooting
