Setup Guide
1. Charging the Cameras
Before initial use, ensure all cameras are fully charged. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.
2. App Installation and Account Creation
- Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
- Open the app and create a new account, or log in if you already have one.
3. Connecting Cameras to Wi-Fi (One-Touch Setup)
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz or 5GHz).
- In the app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "Security & Video Surveillance" and then "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to put the camera into pairing mode (usually by pressing a reset button).
- Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted. The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for flexible connectivity.
- The app will generate a QR code. Position the camera lens to scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen.
- Once connected, the camera's indicator light will change, and the app will confirm successful pairing.
4. Mounting the Cameras
The cameras are IP65 waterproof, suitable for outdoor installation. Choose a mounting location that provides optimal viewing angles and Wi-Fi signal strength. Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the cameras to a wall or desired surface. The wire-free design allows for flexible placement without power cords or network cables.
Operating Instructions
1. Live View and Two-Way Audio
- Open the Tuya app and select the desired camera to view its live feed.
- Tap the microphone icon to enable two-way audio, allowing you to speak through the camera and hear audio from its location.
2. Night Vision Modes
The camera supports both black and white infrared night vision and full-color night vision. You can switch between these modes in the "Video Settings" page within the Tuya app to suit different observation needs, ensuring clear visibility even in low-light conditions.
3. Motion Detection and Smart Alerts
- The camera features AI motion detection. When motion is detected, you will receive instant alerts on your smartphone.
- Custom Delineated Area: Within the app, you can define specific monitoring areas to minimize false alarms and focus on critical zones.
- An integrated alarm (siren) can be activated to deter intruders, either manually or automatically upon detection.
4. Storage Options
