- Avoid placing the umbrella near open flames or heat sources.

3. Package Contents
Verify that all parts are present before beginning assembly:
- Umbrella Canopy with Solar LED Lights
- Umbrella Pole (Upper and Lower sections)
- Crank Handle
- Sand Bag Base

- Instruction Manual
4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your patio umbrella:
- Assemble the Metal Support Frame: Connect the pieces of the metal support frame for the sandbag base. Ensure they are securely interlocked.
- Fill the Sandbag: Place the sandbag base on the assembled metal frame. Fill the sandbag with as much sand or gravel as possible, up to 80 lbs, to ensure maximum stability.
- Insert Sandbag into Base: Carefully place the filled sandbag into the designated base compartment. Do not invert the sandbag.
- Insert the Patio Umbrella: Insert the lower section of the umbrella pole into the center opening of the sandbag base. Then, attach the upper umbrella pole section with the canopy.
- Secure Retainers: Screw both retainer knobs on the base to firmly secure the umbrella pole in place.
- Open the Umbrella Canopy: Use the crank handle to slowly open the umbrella canopy.

Ensure the base is fully weighted for optimal stability. The sandbag base is designed to be filled with sand or gravel, providing a stable foundation for your umbrella.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening and Closing the Umbrella
- To Open: Rotate the crank handle clockwise until the canopy is fully extended.
- To Close: Rotate the crank handle counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted and secured with the binding rope.
5.2 Tilting the Umbrella
This umbrella features an adjustable tilt mechanism. Locate the tilt button or lever on the umbrella pole. Press or engage it, then gently push the canopy to the desired angle. Release the button/lever to lock the tilt position.

5.3 Solar LED Lights
The umbrella is equipped with solar-powered LED lights. The solar panel located on top of the umbrella charges during daylight hours. The lights will automatically turn on at dusk or can be manually activated via a switch on the pole (if present). Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for optimal charging.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Canopy: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame: Clean the metal frame with a damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent rust.
- Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel clean and free of dust or debris to ensure efficient charging. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
6.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, especially during off-season or severe weather, close the umbrella and store it in a dry, protected area. Consider using a protective umbrella cover (not included) to prolong its lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Umbrella does not open/close smoothly. | Crank mechanism is stiff or obstructed. | Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts. Check for any obstructions in the canopy or pole. |
| LED lights are not working. | Insufficient solar charge; solar panel is dirty or obstructed; switch is off. | Ensure solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours. Check the power switch on the pole. |
| Umbrella is unstable. | Base is not sufficiently weighted; pole is not secured. | Ensure the sandbag base is filled to its maximum capacity (up to 80 lbs). Tighten the retainer screws on the pole. |
