2. Installation Methods

The light offers two convenient installation methods: magnetic mounting with sticky pads or screw mounting for rougher surfaces.

Magnetic Mounting (No Drilling Required)

  1. Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
  2. Peel off the protective film from one side of the sticky back pads and attach them to the magnet strip.
  3. Peel off the protective film from the other side of the sticky back pads and firmly press the magnet strip onto the ceiling or wall.
  4. Align the light with the installed magnet strip. The light will magnetically attach to the strip, holding it securely in place.

Screw Mounting (Optional)

For more permanent installation or on textured surfaces where adhesive might not hold, you can screw the magnet strip into place.

  1. Position the magnet strip on the desired surface and mark the screw hole locations.
  2. Drill pilot holes if necessary.
  3. Secure the magnet strip to the surface using appropriate screws (not included, but typically small screws are sufficient).
  4. Magnetically attach the light to the secured magnet strip.

Operating Instructions

1. Working Modes

The light has two primary working modes, selectable via the remote control or buttons on the light:

  • Sensor Mode: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within 9-16 feet and turn off after 20 seconds of no movement. This mode is ideal for areas like hallways, closets, or stairs.
  • Stay On Mode: The light remains continuously on until manually turned off. This mode is suitable for situations requiring prolonged illumination.

Maintenance

1. Recharging

When the light's brightness diminishes or it stops responding, it's time to recharge the battery. Simply detach the light from its magnetic base and connect it to the USB cable for charging as described in the Setup section.

2. Cleaning

To clean the light, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the light in water, as it is not water resistant.
