5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the scanner, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the scanner frequently. Store the scanner in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. Charge the battery at least once every three months if stored.
6. Troubleshooting
- Scanner not connecting: Ensure the scanner is charged and powered on. For 2.4G, check if the dongle is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the scanner is in pairing mode.
- Scanner not scanning: Ensure the barcode is clean, not damaged, and properly illuminated. Adjust the distance and angle of the scanner to the barcode. Check if the scanner is in the correct operating mode.
- No data transmitted: Verify the connection mode (2.4G, Bluetooth, USB) is active and correctly paired. If in Storage Mode, ensure you have initiated the upload process.
- Short battery life: Ensure the scanner is fully charged. Reduce screen brightness or disable unnecessary features if applicable.
