3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Charging the Camera
Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

Important Note: When connecting the charging cable, ensure the cover for the port is opened carefully. After charging, please fasten the screw firmly to secure the cover. Failure to do so may compromise the IP66 waterproof rating and allow water to enter the power supply, potentially damaging the device.

3.2 Mounting Options
The AKEEYO-710Pro offers versatile mounting solutions to suit various applications. Choose the most appropriate mount for your needs:
- Metal Bracket: Provides a secure and durable attachment, typically used for handlebars. Requires special tools for opening and securing, enhancing theft resistance.
- 6-piece Adhesive Bracket Set: Includes a curved bracket and two adaptor heads, suitable for helmets or other smooth surfaces.
- Side Mirror Bracket: Allows mounting on side mirrors, offering an alternative perspective. The angle can be adjusted for optimal viewing.
- Wide Compatibility Handle Bracket: Features a standard 1/4" thread, making it compatible with many cameras and action camera accessories.

Ensure the camera is securely attached to prevent dislodgement during operation. For optimal video quality, position the camera to avoid obstructions in the field of view.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To power on the camera, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.
4.2 Recording Video
Once powered on, the camera typically begins recording automatically. A flashing indicator light usually signifies active recording. Press the record button to manually start or stop recording if needed.
The camera supports multiple resolutions including 4K, 2K, and 1080P. The anti-shake (EIS) function is active when recording at 4K resolution to ensure stable footage.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connectivity and App Usage
The AKEEYO-710Pro features 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for seamless connection to your smartphone via a dedicated application. This allows for real-time previews, video playback, and easy sharing of footage.
- Download the official AKEEYO app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Power on the camera and enable its Wi-Fi function (refer to camera settings if not automatically enabled).
- On your smartphone, connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
- Open the AKEEYO app. Important: Ensure you check the "Privacy Consent" option during the setup process within the app to establish a successful connection. If you encounter issues with registration or initial password, you can click "SKIP" in the upper right corner to bypass registration and still use all app functions.
- Once connected, you can view live footage, manage recordings, and adjust settings.

The camera also supports Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates via Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for manual SD card handling or computer connections for updates.
4.4 Parking Surveillance and G-Sensor
The AKEEYO-710Pro includes a parking monitoring feature that provides 24-hour protection for your motorcycle. When the camera detects an impact or significant motion while parked, the G-sensor triggers emergency recording, securing critical footage.

4.5 Loop Recording
The camera supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the storage card is full. This ensures continuous recording without the need for manual deletion of old files.

- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
- Waterproofing: Always ensure the charging port cover is securely fastened to maintain the IP66 waterproof rating. Avoid submerging the camera in water.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in active use.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check for and install firmware updates via the dedicated app to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Common Issues and Solutions
