3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Rice Cooking
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. The DFB-C300 can cook up to 6 cups of uncooked rice.
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add to Inner Pot: Place the washed rice into the ceramic inner pot.
- Add Water: Add water according to the cooking reference lines inside the inner pot. For example, for 4 cups of rice, fill water to the '4' mark on the 'Rice/Grain' scale.
- Place Inner Pot: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it into the main body of the rice cooker.
- Close Lid: Close the lid securely until it clicks.
- Select Function: Press the 'Rice' button on the control panel.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the display will show the cooking time.
- Completion: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode.

- Delay Start: Press the 'Preset' button after selecting a cooking function to set a delayed start time (up to 24 hours). Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to adjust.
- Keep Warm: The rice cooker automatically enters 'Keep Warm' mode for up to 8 hours after cooking. To maintain optimal taste, it is recommended to consume rice shortly after cooking.
