Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Grinder: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the Product Overview are present.
2. Clean Before First Use: Wash the removable stainless steel grinding cup and transparent lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
3. Assemble the Grinding Cup: Place the stainless steel grinding cup vertically into the main body of the motor base. Rotate it clockwise until it is fully locked into position.

Operating Instructions

This grinder is suitable for coffee beans, spices, herbs, flaxseed, and nuts. Do not grind wet or oily ingredients.

1. Add Ingredients: Ensure the grinding cup is securely locked. Add your desired dry ingredients (e.g., coffee beans, spices) into the stainless steel grinding cup. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line indicated inside the cup (80 grams or 3 ounces for coffee beans).
2. Secure the Lid: Place the transparent lid onto the grinding cup, ensuring it is properly seated. The grinder will not operate if the lid is not correctly in place.
3. Start Grinding: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press and hold the button on the lid to start grinding. The grinding process will continue as long as the button is pressed.
4. Control Grind Coarseness: The longer you press the button, the finer the grind will be.
   • Coarse Grind (e.g., French Press): 8-10 seconds
   • Medium Grind (e.g., Drip Coffee): 10-15 seconds
   • Fine Grind (e.g., Espresso): 15-20 seconds
   • Extra Fine Grind: 20-25 seconds
   Observe the grinding process through the transparent lid to achieve your desired consistency.
5. Stop Grinding: Release the button to stop the grinding process.
6. Remove Ground Ingredients: Unplug the grinder from the power outlet. Remove the transparent lid. Rotate the stainless steel grinding cup anti-clockwise to unlock and lift it out from the motor base. Carefully pour out the ground ingredients.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your grinder.

1. Unplug Before Cleaning: Always ensure the grinder is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Clean the Grinding Cup: Remove the stainless steel grinding cup from the motor base. Rinse it directly under running water with mild soap. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any stubborn residue around the blades and inside the cup. Ensure the cup is completely dry before reassembling or storing.
3. Clean the Lid: Wash the transparent lid with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Dry completely.
4. Clean the Motor Base: Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
5. Storage: Store the grinder in a dry place when not in use.
