• 1/4" Thread: Located on both ends for mounting to tripods or other accessories.
• Light Panel: Emits the adjustable LED light.

Setup

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable and a 5V 2A power adapter (not included). The OLED display will indicate charging status.

3. Mounting (Optional): Attach the light wand to a tripod or stand using the 1/4" threaded screw holes on either end. Alternatively, use its magnetic sides to attach it to any ferrous metal surface.

Operating Modes

The TL98C offers three primary operating modes: CCT, HSI, and FX (Special Effects). Press the Mode (M) button to switch between them.

1. CCT Mode (Correlated Color Temperature)

In CCT mode, you can adjust the color temperature and brightness of the white light.

• Color Temperature: Adjust from 2500K (warm) to 10000K (cool) using the Up/Down buttons.
• Brightness: Adjust from 0% to 100%.
• GM Adjustment: Use the built-in GM adjustment for precise color calibration.

2. HSI Mode (Hue, Saturation, Intensity)

HSI mode allows for full RGB color control, enabling you to select any color from the 360° spectrum.

• Hue: Select any color from 0-360° using the Up/Down buttons.
• Saturation: Adjust the color intensity from 0% (white) to 100% (full color).
• Brightness: Adjust from 0% to 100%.

3. FX Mode (Special Effects)

The FX mode provides 17 pre-programmed special lighting effects to enhance your creative projects.

• Select Effect: Use the Up/Down buttons to cycle through the 17 available effects (e.g., Cop Car, Lightning, Fireworks, Candle).

Downloading the App

Operating Procedure

1. Open the "NEEWER" app and tap the "+" icon to add the TL98C device.
2. Tap the device to access the group and channel settings.
3. You can select the DMX group (A/B/C/D/E/F/G) and adjust the DMX channels (1-512).
4. Configure lighting settings (CCT/HSI) for each light group in the frame. The bottom control bar supports CCT/HSI modes, with HSI as the default.
5. The app supports custom programming of lighting effects and storage, and multi-light group control, with 8 groups available, each supporting up to 128 lights for efficient light management.
