Mopping Features

When mopping, the Roomba 104 automatically detects and avoids carpets, ensuring your rugs stay dry without any complex programming. The built-in micro-pump controls water flow, keeping the microfiber mopping pad uniformly moist. For tougher messes, activate SmartScrub mode via the app for 2X deeper scrubbing.

3. Maintenance

AutoEmpty Dock and Dustbin

The Roomba 104's AutoEmpty Dock holds up to 75 days of debris in a sealed bag, trapping 99% of allergens. Replace the bag when full by simply lifting it out and disposing of it. No messy dust clouds.

Mop Pad and Brushes

The washable, reusable microfiber mop pad should be cleaned regularly. It attaches with Velcro for easy removal. Periodically remove and clean the multi-surface brush and edge-sweeping brush to ensure optimal performance, especially if pet hair is present. The caster wheel should also be checked and cleaned to prevent hair and debris buildup.

4. Troubleshooting

If your Roomba encounters an issue, it will typically indicate this with flashing lights or voice prompts. Common issues include low battery, getting stuck, or connectivity problems with the app. Ensure the robot is fully charged and that its path is clear of obstacles. For app-related issues, try restarting the app or your home Wi-Fi router. If the robot stops unexpectedly or displays a red light, it may indicate a blockage in the brushes or wheels, or a battery issue. Refer to the Roomba Home app's help section for specific error codes and detailed troubleshooting steps.
