2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the record player on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibrations.
- Remove any protective materials or ties from the turntable and tonearm.
3.2 Dust Cover Installation
The clear dust cover protects the turntable. Align the hinges on the dust cover with the slots on the back of the record player and gently push down until it clicks into place.
3.3 Platter and Belt Setup
The platter and drive belt are typically pre-installed. If not, carefully place the platter onto the spindle. Locate the drive belt and loop it around the motor pulley and the inner rim of the platter.
3.4 Counterweight Adjustment
The counterweight helps balance the tonearm and ensures proper stylus pressure on the record, preventing skipping and excessive wear.

- Gently remove the stylus protector.
- Rotate the counterweight at the back of the tonearm until the tonearm is balanced and floats horizontally.
- Once balanced, hold the counterweight steady and rotate the numbered ring to '0'.
- Rotate the entire counterweight (including the numbered ring) to the recommended tracking force (refer to stylus manufacturer's specifications, typically 2-3 grams for most standard cartridges).
3.5 Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the DC IN port on the back of the record player, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

4. Operation
4.1 Powering On/Off and Volume Control
The Power ON/OFF & Volume Knob (labeled 'VOL') controls the unit's power and output volume for the built-in speakers and headphone jack. Turn clockwise to power on and increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.
4.2 Playing a Vinyl Record

- Place a vinyl record on the platter. If playing a 7-inch record, use the included 45 RPM adapter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the 33/45/78 RPM Switch.
- Ensure the Auto Stop ON/OFF Switch is set to 'ON' if you want the turntable to stop automatically at the end of the record.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever and position the stylus over the desired track on the record.
- Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cueing lever. Playback will begin.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL knob.
- At the end of the record, if auto-stop is enabled, the platter will stop rotating. Lift the tonearm and return it to the tonearm rest.
4.3 Bluetooth Input (Receiving from Smart Device)

- Turn on the record player.
- Set the Bluetooth IN/OUT Switch to 'BT IN'. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smart device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for 'TANLANIN' or a similar device name.
- Select the record player to pair. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play music from your smart device through the record player's built-in speakers. Adjust volume using the VOL knob.
4.4 Bluetooth Output (Transmitting to External Speakers/Headphones)

- Turn on the record player.
- Set the Bluetooth IN/OUT Switch to 'BT OUT'. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Ensure your external Bluetooth speaker or headphones are in pairing mode.
- The record player will automatically search for and connect to the nearest Bluetooth audio device. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- Play a vinyl record. The audio will now be transmitted to your external Bluetooth device. Adjust volume on your external device.
4.5 RCA Output

Use the RCA output jacks on the rear panel to connect the record player to an external amplifier or powered speakers. Connect the red plug to the right channel input and the white plug to the left channel input of your audio system.
4.6 AUX Input/Output
The AUX-in Jack allows you to connect external audio devices (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) via a 3.5mm audio cable to play through the record player's speakers. The Headphone Jack allows for private listening with wired headphones.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
- Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
5.2 Stylus Care
- The stylus is delicate. Handle it with care.
- Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing from back to front.
- Replace the stylus when you notice a degradation in sound quality or visible wear. A spare replacement needle is included.
5.3 Record Care
- Always handle records by their edges.
- Store records vertically in their sleeves in a cool, dry place.
- Clean records regularly with a dedicated record cleaning brush or solution to remove dust and static.
