Setup and Charging

Charging the Device:

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the device's charging port and to a USB power adapter (not included). The LED display will show the battery percentage. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

The device can be used while charging.

Powering On/Off:

  • Power On: Press and hold the "C/P" button for 3 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the "C/P" button for 3 seconds.

Operating Modes

The Ewin Bluetooth adapter supports two modes: Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX). Use the slide switch on the side of the device to select the desired mode.

1. Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the device transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth source (e.g., TV, PC, CD player, airplane entertainment system) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Select TX Mode: Before starting the Bluetooth connection process, slide the mode switch on the side of the device to the TX position.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the "C/P" button for 3 seconds to power on. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  3. Pair First Device: Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode. The Ewin device will automatically search and connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will light up steadily.
  4. Pair Second Device (Optional): To connect a second pair of Bluetooth headphones or speaker, put the second device into pairing mode. The Ewin device will automatically connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will light up steadily.
  5. Connect to Audio Source: Connect the device's integrated 3.5mm audio cable to the audio output port of your non-Bluetooth source (e.g., TV, PC, airplane multimedia).

Note: After the first power-on and connection, the device will automatically reconnect to previously paired devices when powered on again.

2. Receiver (RX) Mode

In RX mode, the device receives audio from a Bluetooth-enabled source (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., car stereo, wired speaker, home audio system).

  1. Select RX Mode: Slide the mode switch on the side of the device to the RX position.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the "C/P" button for 3 seconds to power on. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  3. Pair First Device: On your smartphone or tablet, search for "BR17" in the Bluetooth settings and connect. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will light up steadily.
  4. Pair Second Device (Optional): To connect a second smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth on the second device and connect to "BR17". Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will light up steadily.
  5. Connect to Audio Output: Connect the device's integrated 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input of your non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., car stereo, wired speaker).

Note: When playing music from the second smartphone, pause playback on the first smartphone first.

Hands-Free Calling (RX Mode Only):

When in RX mode and connected to a smartphone, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls. Press the "C/P" button to answer or end a call. This feature supports safe driving by allowing you to manage calls without handling your phone.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Integrated Cable: Handle the integrated 3.5mm audio cable with care to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting
