3. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the keyboard. Toggle it to the ON position to power on the keyboard. To conserve battery, toggle to OFF when not in use.

4.2 Wired Connection (USB-C)

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
3. The keyboard will automatically enter wired mode and begin charging. The OLED screen will display the USB connection icon.

4.3 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver (USB dongle) stored magnetically in the keyboard's base.
2. Insert the 2.4G receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. On the keyboard's OLED screen, rotate the knob to select the "2.4G" connection mode. Press the knob to confirm.
4. The keyboard will attempt to pair. If pairing is successful, the OLED screen will display the 2.4G connection icon. If connection fails, ensure the receiver is properly inserted and try again.

4.4 Bluetooth Connection (BT1, BT2, BT3)

The keyboard supports connecting to up to three Bluetooth devices.

1. On the keyboard's OLED screen, rotate the knob to select the "BT" connection mode (BT1, BT2, or BT3). Press and hold the knob for 3-5 seconds until the OLED screen indicates "BT Pairing".
2. On your device (computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet), search for Bluetooth devices and select "AULA-F98Pro-1" (or -2, -3 depending on the selected channel).
3. Once paired, the OLED screen will display "BT Pairing Successful" and the corresponding Bluetooth icon.
4. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, rotate the knob on the OLED screen to select the desired BT channel (BT1, BT2, or BT3) and press the knob to confirm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 OLED Screen and Multi-function Knob

The OLED screen provides visual feedback for various settings. The multi-function knob allows for intuitive control:

• Rotate Knob: Navigate through menu options (e.g., connection mode, system, lighting effects, volume).
• Press Knob: Confirm selection or enter/exit menus.

5.2 RGB Backlighting Control

The keyboard offers extensive RGB customization:

• FN Key Combinations: Use the FN key in combination with other keys (e.g., FN + \ for lighting effects, FN + Alt for brightness, FN + Ctrl for speed) to adjust backlight modes, brightness, and speed. Refer to the included reference card for specific combinations.
• Driver Software: For advanced customization, including per-key lighting, custom effects, and macro programming, download and install the official AULA driver software from the manufacturer's website.

5.3 Macro Programming

The AULA F98 Pro supports macro programming through its dedicated driver software. This allows you to assign complex sequences of keystrokes or functions to a single key.

1. Install the AULA driver software on your Windows computer.
2. Open the software and navigate to the macro management section.
3. Create new macros by recording key presses or defining sequences.
4. Assign the created macros to desired keys on the keyboard.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance:

• Disconnect the keyboard from power before cleaning.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard.
• For dust and debris between keycaps, use the provided dust cover or a can of compressed air.
• For stubborn stains, lightly dampen a cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution (avoid harsh chemicals).

6.2 Switch and Keycap Replacement

The AULA F98 Pro features hot-swappable switches and removable keycaps, allowing for easy customization and maintenance.

1. Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch.
2. Use the switch puller to carefully remove switches. Ensure the switch puller grips both sides of the switch firmly before pulling straight up.
3. To install new switches, align the pins with the sockets on the PCB and press down gently until the switch clicks into place.
4. Place new keycaps onto the switches, ensuring they are properly aligned.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Keyboard Not Responding

• Wired Mode: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
• 2.4GHz Wireless: Verify the USB dongle is properly inserted. Check the OLED screen to confirm 2.4G mode is active. Try re-pairing the device.
• Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Check the OLED screen for the correct BT channel (BT1/BT2/BT3) and pairing status. Try re-pairing the device.
• Battery: Ensure the keyboard has sufficient battery charge. Connect it via USB-C to charge.

7.2 RGB Lights Not Working/Customizing

• Check FN key combinations for brightness and mode changes.
• Ensure the driver software is installed and up-to-date for advanced customization.

7.3 OLED Screen Issues

• If the screen is blank, ensure the keyboard is powered on and has sufficient battery.
• If the time/date is incorrect, use the driver software to synchronize it with your computer.
