5. Operating Instructions
Before starting, ensure the unit is on a level surface and the water supply is fully open.
- Starting the Engine: Engage the choke (if applicable) and set the engine switch to the 'ON' position. Pull the recoil start handle firmly until the engine starts. Once started, gradually disengage the choke.
- Selecting Nozzles: Choose the appropriate quick-connect nozzle tip for your cleaning task. Push the nozzle firmly into the spray gun's quick-connect collar until it clicks into place.
- 0° (Red): For toughest stains and concentrated cleaning. Use with extreme caution.
- 15° (Yellow): For heavy-duty cleaning on hard surfaces.
- 25° (Green): For general washing tasks.
- 40° (White): For delicate surfaces and light rinsing.
- Soap (Black): For applying detergent.
- Applying Detergent: Fill the 0.88-gallon on-board soap tank with pressure washer-safe detergent. Attach the black soap nozzle. The pressure washer will automatically mix the detergent with the water at a lower pressure.
- Cleaning Technique: Hold the spray gun firmly with both hands. Start spraying a few feet away from the surface and gradually move closer until the desired cleaning effect is achieved. Use sweeping motions to ensure even cleaning.
- Shutting Down: Release the spray gun trigger. Turn off the engine. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system. Disconnect the hoses.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your TOOLCY pressure washer.
- Engine Oil: Check the engine oil level before each use. Add 10W-30 oil as needed. Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Regularly inspect and clean the air filter. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance. Refer to the engine manual for specific cleaning instructions.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug annually or every 100 hours. Clean or replace as necessary.
- Fuel System: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor or use a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation.
- Pump: The axial-cam pump is designed to be maintenance-free. However, always ensure a consistent water supply during operation to prevent damage.
- Nozzles: Clean clogged nozzles using the provided nozzle cleaning tool or a thin wire.
- Storage: Store the pressure washer in a clean, dry, and frost-free area. Disconnect all hoses and drain any remaining water from the pump and hoses to prevent freezing damage.
