2. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the appliance:

3. Components Included

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the machine.
  2. Place the espresso machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or tangled.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

  1. Wash the water tank, milk container, drip tray, and coffee grounds container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Remove the water tank from the back or side of the machine.
  2. Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX line.
  3. Replace the water tank securely into the machine.

4.4 Adding Coffee Beans or Ground Coffee

  1. For Whole Beans: Open the bean hopper lid on top of the machine. Pour fresh whole coffee beans into the hopper. Adjust the grind size setting as desired (7 grind sizes available).
  2. For Pre-Ground Coffee: Use the bypass chute located next to the bean hopper. Open the bypass chute cover and add one scoop of pre-ground coffee using the provided measuring spoon. This is ideal for decaf or different coffee types.

4.5 Setting Up the Milk Container

  1. Fill the detachable 20 oz milk canister with your preferred milk (dairy, soy, oat, almond, etc.).
  2. Attach the milk tube to the designated port on the machine and insert the other end into the milk container.
  3. Ensure the milk container lid is securely closed. The airtight plug allows for easy storage in the refrigerator.

4.6 Initial Rinse Cycle

Before first use, perform an initial rinse cycle to clean the internal components:

  1. Place a large container under the coffee spout and milk frother.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts for the initial rinse or cleaning cycle. This typically involves dispensing hot water through the system.
  3. Discard the water after the cycle is complete.

5.2 Making Coffee and Espresso

  1. Place a cup under the coffee spout. The adjustable height brewing outlet can accommodate various cup sizes.
  2. Select your desired drink (Espresso, Coffee, Americano) from the touchscreen.
  3. Customize settings such as coffee strength and drink size if prompted or desired.
  4. Press the start button. The machine will automatically grind the beans (if using whole beans) and brew your coffee.

5.3 Making Milk-Based Beverages

The dual cream system heats and froths various types of milk to create silky, smooth foam.

  1. Ensure the milk container is filled and properly connected to the machine.
  2. Place a cup under the coffee spout and milk frother.

5.4 Hot Water Function

To dispense hot water for tea or other beverages:

  1. Place a cup under the coffee spout.
  2. Select the 'Hot Water' option on the touchscreen.
  3. Press the start button to dispense hot water.

6.1 Automatic Cleaning Functions

6.2 Manual Cleaning
