5. Initial Setup
- Add Engine Oil: Using the provided oil funnel, add 10W-30 engine oil to the engine crankcase. Do NOT overfill. The unit is shipped without engine oil to prevent leaks during transit.
- Add Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer pump. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has a minimum diameter of 5/8 inch.
- Turn on Water Supply: Fully open the water faucet to ensure a steady flow of water to the pressure washer.
- Purge Air from System: Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the pump and hose. Continue until a steady stream of water flows from the nozzle.

6. Operating Instructions
- Start the Engine:
- Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
- Move the throttle lever to the 'LEFT' position.
- Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the 'RIGHT' position.
- Locate the recoil cord and pull slowly until resistance is felt. At this point, pull rapidly to start the engine.
- Once the engine starts, turn the choke lever to the 'RIGHT' position.
- Select Nozzle: Choose the appropriate quick-connect nozzle tip for your cleaning task. The 0° (red) nozzle provides a concentrated stream for tough stains, while the 40° (white) nozzle offers a wider spray for general cleaning. The black nozzle is for soap application.
- Apply Detergent (Optional): If using detergent, fill the 0.88-gallon onboard soap tank with pressure washer-safe detergent. Attach the black soap nozzle. The pressure washer will automatically mix the detergent with water at low pressure.
- Begin Cleaning: Hold the spray gun firmly with both hands and maintain a safe distance from the surface being cleaned. Start spraying from a distance and move closer as needed, ensuring not to damage the surface.
- Stop the Engine: To stop the engine, turn the engine switch to the 'OFF' position. Turn off the water supply and squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure.
